Warning over dash for development

Ministers were last night warned that a controversial 'dash for development' which would see nearly 80,000 new homes built in Norfolk by 2021 could destroy the character of the county unless backed by proper funding.

Robbery bid on woman in mobility scooter

A hooded man tried to rob a woman in a mobility scooter in Thetford. The man - who had a parka coat with the hood over his face - approached the woman from at Green Lane, and grabbed her coat and demanded money.

The university has secured funding from the Economic and Social Research Council to run a programme of activities that will help organisations develop strategies to reduce their carbon footprints and assist them with the integration of these strategies into their business models.
