I'll cut straight to the chase - I'm coming to you with the begging bowl as it were. I was wondering if you'd be interested in sponsoring my "Collected Writings" book. At the moment, the book is only available on www.lulu.com/twosheds316, but I'm hoping to try and get a bit of sponsorship to help me get it out to a wider audience.
Basically, my plan is this;
Get a distribution package, including an ISBN number, so it will be available to order through retail outlets as well as on sites such as Amazon and Play.
To advertise the book in the local press and the local free papers, as well as buying some online advertisements, and to also send out review copies to the press.
A poster campaign in the local area.
My idea is that anyone who sponsors the book would get full credit on the front page, with a website address and telephone number, as well as advertising on any press releases I send out and on my website as well. It might be a good way of getting Skingraphics a bit of publicity.
Now I can't guarantee that this book will be a smash hit best seller. Having published three books before on Lulu with very limited success, I'm just trying to step up to the next level as it were. All I need is a little financial help to get me to that level, and should this book prove successful, it will help me finance future projects as well.
