The local pub is a valuable part of our village communities providing a welcome retreat from the pace of modern day life, with the opportunity for social gatherings. Many of our pubs have interesting history going back hundreds of years and consquently are part of our British heritage. May I recommend The Scottow 3 Horseshoes - great food and beer with a welcoming, cosy atmosphere.

I worked near the Scottow Three Horseshoes in 1973. I remember going with colleagues to a really good Christmas party there - I was none too sober when I was given a lift back to my parents' home later that evening!
