1942-1945 Where were you?

What has happened to the old 18th divs.  Anyone want to swap yarns on subjects only we knew anything about.?

The trek of the ill fated F Force , the back-ups and leggis, not forgetting the 'doovers'.  If you were there you'll know what I mean?

Any silver surfers left among us?

I wasn't there Bert, but my Great uncle Bob Ungless was.  Hi, Are you "Dusty" Miller by any chance?  I got that name from Wally Wren, both he and Doug Skippen have been helping me find out a bit more about Bob and now i am trying to find out all about the 196.  I have got some photo's you might be interested in and I am trying to create a nominal roll for all of you brave fellows in the 196 and 18th Div.  Please send me an email Bert, I would love to hear from you.

Clayton Ford (grandson of Dorothy Ford, Bob's sister)

PS glad you're on the net!!

Dear Clayton,

My father (Bert Miller) sadly passed away on 27.7.06.

However, I can tell you that he was called Dusty or sometimes Max by his comrades during the war and would have been delighted to hear from you.  Thank you for responding to his note. If you have any questions that you think I could help with I'll certainly try.

Kind regards

Bridget
