But the fact is I dont give a darn about my spelling, wether its correct or not. Ive already said that. However. Just because a person can not spell it does not mean that a person does not have a wealth of knowledge. Which to some people, make that big mistake. Amber has said that she does not trust my word on peoples fears & psyhology. The fact is that I know exactly what I am talking about, as I have seen it happen in real life. A friend that I knew came to me about 20 years ago. He knew that I had an interest in the spirit world. He told me that he thought his house was haunted & was terrified. Before hand he had no belief in the spirit world. I watched my friend desend from a very strong & strong willed person, into a gibbering wreck, do to fear & terror. At the time I did not know what I know now about the spirit world. But I too was horrified by his change. Not to mention completly helpless to help him. In the end, he spent almost a year in a phyiatric hospital recovering from his experience. So I know exactly what fear & terror can do to a person. On the programme Living with the Dead I am seeing exactly the same effects of what my friend went though. On the faces of the people on the show. The  fear & terror on their faces, is exactly the same as it was on his. Do you still believe that I dont know what I'm talking about Amber? Think again. Because I've seen fear & terror on a person & the effects that it can have. It is anything but nice to see & its down right horrific. This is what I have against the programme. If a strong & strong willed person can can end up in a pyciatric hospital, what effect would this have on a weaker person? How long can this programme go with its bully boy antics, before some one on the show SNAPS? Best wishes All Eddie      Report

Mate of mine went on one and nearly had a heart attack. Turns out the people who organised it hadn't given every one a full medical before they went. Not nice. Should be banned. Serving Churches is becomming more and more of a problem for several mediums as the collection is so small it hardly ever pays the petrol (which is going up and up and up) hence most mediums are out of pocket and some of them like me, can not afford to travel large distances to serve a church who needs good mediums. congregations are getting smaller as the bills get bigger, Hall fees, heating, telephone bills etc. remember most churches do not charge for a service except maybe a pound or two for an evening demonstration of mediumship. So many forget that for some of us this is our religion, we do not make any money nor do we want to. we have no wages (unlike several other religions) or huge houses to live in supplied by the church. Private sittings are a way to earn a living, a way to pay the bills, to put petrol in the tank to go to the church and prove the reality of life after death... which surly is the tenent of most, if not all religions. This post has really off topic, as I am certain certain perople know only to well   lets stay on topic here folks This thread is all about 'Living With The Dead' I am looking forward to reading more about Paul's experiences and those of his family not from an entertainment view point at all, more from a friendly here to help kind of roll... I see it's actually a slightly higher rate for the first 30 minutes. I guess that's due to the connection charge with the other world. I do understand your desire not to continue the conversation online though. Best to stick to dialogue when it can be a chargeable event...    Report

I do understand your desire to distance yourself from this set-up but it's nice to see you've found your voice again. I'm guessing you may lose it again when I ask how one can possibly give a personal  "reading" that has any kind of validity through the medium of a telephone line. £1 a minute is still £1 a minute whether charged to the telephone line or not - in fact doing it your way means you keep more of the cash - nice one!    Report

Hi Pat,Paul,Eddie and Jenny, Hope you are all very well, I have been facinated by everyones coments since I last was on this forum and found them very interesting and also helpful. I for one echo the coments from Pat/Paul about your spelling Eddie, I could not care less about it,you have been very helpful and it's been a pleasure to read your input, you are clearly are very nice person. One of my sons needed special needs teachers at school to help with his spelling as well as the help we gave him and even to this day his spelling is lacking but you could not wish to meet a nicer lad and we are incredibly proud of him, he is hard working and will help any one and he never puts himself first, I get the feeling Eddie is this sort of person and even though you do not meet face to face you can still judge some one by the way they come over in an e mail. My spelling is not brilliant and as there is no spell checker on this forum so no doubt some one out there can have a go at me, I am rather thick skinned and if they have a go at me they are leaving some one else alone.If it was not for Eddie trusting us with his e mail address Irene and my self would not have been able to get in contact so thank you Eddie because if it was not for Irene helping my Family and my Daughter, who has been terrified and traumatised by the whole experience. And thank God for wonderful people like Irene that give there time for free to help total strangers, what Irene said about the phone calls was true I have not used a penny in all of this and Irene has been on the phone 2 or 3 times a day checking we are ok and some times she runs over the free time she has, so it is infact costing her money. As far as the LWTD prog goes, yes the viewer can switch off but the 7 families on the show can not. You go into this with the hope of explanations and help, how much help leaves a lot to be desired. Some people may think it strange for people conected to the show to offer help after the seance if you are still having problems and then the moment your show goes on air the help stops, some people may think the help was only offered till the show went on air incase an upset Family pulled the plug on the show. I am not saying me ....just some people. I have also been incontact with the people from the Crown Inn, episode 2 and they are still having things happen down there. Also as Irene has mentioned Heather from the Peak District who asked the team not to put on TV where they live and yet that was the first thing that happened so she is more than upset and I believe is going to contact the production team, also as you have read she too was left with problems luckily Irene has helped this lady too, I have also spoken to this Lady and her Husband over the phone and via e mail. Without this forum none of us would have made contact.    I almost suspect Amber that you are not who you pretend to be (unless you are the number one fan of the Ian Lawman fan club) as since you came onto this forum just after I had a go about the programme for the first time, all you have done is back the programme 100% you do not seam to have an open mind or care about the problems this show has caused and as others have said you are entitled to your view, but does it always have to be so negative, I could almost think you were some one conected to the LWTD show. You can not possibly know what we have gone through or had to put up with. I hope no member of your family is ever terrified like my children have been. I also must say like Jenny said why the negative attitude to people on this forum, you tell me to get on with my life yet you sit waiting for some one to put coments on this forum so you can reply, I mean come on 7:15 on Sunday morning maybe you need to get on with your life. And like the people that do not like the show you too can switch off, or maybe you can't, why do you not find a web sight forum for like minded people then you can all talk about how fantastic these shows are. No doubt 10 minutes after i send this you will be back on having a go again at me as you will have been waiting all night for some one to post something on this sight. I actually went to the pub with my family and chilled out and had a really good night then watched a bit of TV had a glass of wine then thought i would spend 5 minutes winding you up as you seem to thive on it. Hi Paul I will first say that it seems as if most people on the forum feel that Amber may have something to do with the LWTD programme. Whether this is right or not, she/he does seem to attack postings but not giving any spiritual views to the programmes consistant attacks on the people taking part in the show. Just a negitive dig & thats all. It is this that have won her/him no favours. But then its possible that a spiritual posting is beyond her/him, only time will tell. Maybe now we might get another poster appairing on the forum. Sapphire, Crystal, Beryl, Ruby. Who knows. May be all of them together. Giggle Now to things at hand. So we have another family that is still having trouble. Its begining to make me wonder just how many houses that the LWTD team has really cleared of spirit. Interesting. as if their spirit clearing was as good as their bully boy antics, they would be brilliant. Alas, they are not. I have now finished watching this dreadful programme. I care too much for the peoples well being. I fear that its only time before something happen to one of these people taking part in the show. And there was me thinking that Most Haunted was bad. But a belated welcome to you Irene, and bless you for your kindness and compassion to others in dire need of spiritual help...lets just hope Amber doesnt ever find herself/himself in the same position.  Cos its only entertainment folks!  some sick people do enjoy watching others in distress i know that for certain...just for entertainments sake of course.  And to pick up on someones incorrect spelling is just ridiculous, after all Amber can spell, but it doesnt make her a very nice person does it? Id rather have a mate who is a great guy, with a truly compassionate caring nature, such as Eddie....than a shallow, unkind, and petty sort like someone else we all know on here.  Amber ever heard the old saying "if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all"..oh and by the way...spot the srewloing mdsatake....oops ive misspelt that!!!  spookfan    Report
