I'm currently doing my family history, and am interested in anyone who knows anything, or knows a Keeble. Most of my family are still living in Norfolk, mainly in the Attleborough area. My Grandmother, Doris Lucy Keeble died in 1994 and lived in Attleborough most of her life, and worked at the Cider factory there. My Grandad, Francis John Keeble died in 1985 and was a bus driver, and was a driver in WW2.
Anyone with any information would be gratefully recieved!
Hi;
Not related at least i don't think so.
I had family connections at Attleborough
But its interesting to see that your grandfather was a bus driver as my uncle was one at Attleborough. My father also worked at Gaymers Cider during the late 1940s
Is your grandfather still of this world?.
regards.......
No, both have now passed away. It's interesting what you say about your Grandfather and Father though. My Dad, Stepmum and sister still live in Attleborough.
Had an interesting day on my family search, met up with a relative from my Brooks line, at Lowestoft, along with all the info he was able to give me, it was interesting to know that he too worked at Gaymers Cider, he was there when Gaymers were bombed 1940.
My father worked there also but later after his service in the RAF.
I wonder if your family living in Attleborough would remember the brooks family, my grandfather was known as Hallalueha Brooks, and most of the family were in the Salvation army band.
My uncle drove the buses.
Be nice to hear any old stories..
Regards................

Hi
Hope you are progressing well on your search for your Keeble Roots.
I see that Francis John Keeble was born 29 Apr 1910, in the Norwich registration district.
If your researches show a connection to the Kenninghall (or North Lopham) part of Norfolk, do get in touch, I have a moderate collection of Keebles (and other surnames) from that area.

Oh, and yes, he was born on 29 April 1910! I've managed to get hold of his birth certificate. Luckily, so far, all my family have been born in the Norwich/Norfolk area, so the certificates have been really easy to get hold of.
Thanks once again.
