Trying to trace the family by the name of Read/Read that were evacuated to the village of Barney, Norfolk. in the 1940's. I went to school in Fulmodeston with the little redheaded girl call Rose

I think the name you may be looking for is Reed, as i knew a Rose Reed who lived at Lt Snoring in the 1950's may be you could reply if this is the case.

Yes it seems we both knew the same Rosie and she did have a brother called Peter, I knew them when they lived at the Croft, Lt Snoring, we lived at the Oaklands, Rosie was a great friend of my sister's. After making some inquiries I think Rose now lives in Germany (not sure) but her brother Peter still lives in Fakenham try the phone book may be he will be in there!
