Warrant Officer (Pilot) Peter Humphrey Watson RAFVR
Peter Watson died in an air crash in NWFP India on 7 April 1945. My father Walter Russell Wicks died in that crash with all the other passengers. The flight took off from Peshawar for an up-country destination but came down at a place called (I think), Gamsala, Jhangi Jumma. All the victims were buried at Jhelum but afterwards moved to the military cemetery at Karachi (tended by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission). According to their records, Peter Watson is buried next to my father in a joint grave, Plot 8 Row D 14 -15. I would like contact from relatives, friends or anyone who knew Peter or has information about the circumstances of the accident.
