Would like someone to be my buddy so to speak and help me trace a few lost relatives in the Burnham and Fakenham areas. Ex Pats has not been helpful so far.

I am from Cromer, now living in BC Canada. I am 56 years of age and used tohang out at the Cromer Rollerdrome when I was a teenager. Now, did you know a guy called Buddy Cooper whose parents ran a pub in Wells? He was a tall fair-haired guy, very good looking and a bit of a Teddy Boy back then. I dated him for a bit back in the early sixties.
If you would like to keep in touch, that would be great. Let me know if you remember Buddy - what happened to him?

Thanks for yor email. I did know Buddy Cooper a little but he was a few years older than me,he was once engaged to a ralative of mine,he was a bit of a lad and a real spive with his winkle pickers and boot lace tie! I think he knew my cousin Gordon Batterby does that name ring a bell with you? I am tring to trace him but have had no luck so far. I dont know what happend to buddy cooper,he used to live next door to my granddad in Freeman Street.Did you know Wells well? It has it's own web sight now and seems to be quite a thriving little place but I left there in nineteen seventy.

I have been trying to trace a fellow by the name of Alan Love. He married a girl by the name of Kathy. They were going together and got married during the late fifties or early sixties. I do not know her last name previous to her marriage. Her dad was a farmer or worked on a farm in the Wells area. Alan Love was an American stationed at RAF Sculthorpe with me.
