Phil has played practically everywhere in Norfolk Jill, over the last 20 years.
Yarmouth market place only books foreigners as far as I know. Pan pipes and similar acts.
The Golden Mile is only for retired acts from down south that have seen better days and the local OBN, mostly discos and karaoke.
The leisure center is for council members of the bowls club, oh and don't forget the band thrashes which are an OBN way to get young bands to play for nothing no matter what they are like so long as they wont be paid.
Pubs and clubs in the area change hands in weeks and the new people running them soon find there is no money available to book any acts after paying out for licenses and looking at the takings for the five week season. Check it out Jill, the new people do not have any idea about acts that have been here for years and nobody gives a dam.
I believe there is an upsurge in Polish and Portuguese folk singers however, their cheap and not bad if you like that sort of thing.

You are a bit out of touch Keith
There is a Rhinestone Cowboy who frequents Gt Yarmouth market place to the delight of the retired groupie and line dancing fraternity each market day, mainly on Wednesdays.
I watch from afar, with my better half eating his chips for just about as long as we can stand it.
He gives your mate a run for his money on looks and musicality
But what does this Amy Whitehouse music (only) appreciatiative know about local artistes?

Rhinestone Cowboy and I am out of touch, jesus.
I have called line dancing Jill, last time was over ten years ago.
New Country has been in America now for way over that time, it eclipsed the classic country and western years ago.
Trouble is new country is not heard hardly at all in the UK.
Those who control things here cant make money from it.
They only let you hear what they want you to hear Jill.
It does not surprise me that there is a rhinestone cowboy in Yarmouth market place though, says it all.
He is probably very good doing line dancing. Brings back the good ol days doesn't it.
I doubt we will ever see entertainers reflecting the modern society like they did in the sixties, there is nothing much to say about the greedy self serving times we are living in is there. Hardly a subject for decent art is it.

I knew you meant Winehouse Jill, I did not even notice the mistake.
Very talented singer song writer and another one being destroyed by this daft greedy society we are forced to live in.

What mistake Glass?
The photo I took was while the car was being rebuilt and before it was painted and moved to the museum.
I was advising on the transmission build.
The engines had to be positioned exactly in the right place in the chassis to make sure the shafting was not out of line.
A very tricky build.
It is a twin engined alpharomeo, a bimotore.
The only original one there is.
Thanks for the detail though, I was unaware of the web coverage.

It appears to me there are those who haunt this forum for no other reason than to gleefully point out the mistakes Keith makes. What a sad way to conduct themselves.
