Hi Jenny
Seems like you have had more sucesse than me as far as the names are concerned.
I did find an Andreas, which I was a bit suprised about. It seemed such a strange name to be in the museum.
Best wishes
Eddie

Ive just had another thought about this.
It could very well be twilight Zone explained.
We were told after three or four rooms that we were not alowed to use flash photography. So maybe this is when we were useing flash that this picture was taken.
Hi Jenny
How many photos had you taken when this picture came up with the orb?
Ive been trying to think if this picture was taken upstairs or downstairs. Was it taken after we were told that we ccould not take flash photos or not?
If taken before we were told we could not use flash photography, then Richard's sum up on events about the photo, would be correct & a very good one.
So we wait with baited breath until Jenny lets us know of when the photo was taken. Before flash aloud or when it was not aloud.
Best wishes
Eddie

Hi Richard
There is only one floor in you flash reflection idea. We were not alowed to use flash photograpy in the museum. Non of the photographs that was taken by Jenny was flash assisted
Of cause it could be that you are talking about the lights in the room causing the light reflection orb.
I got a couple of light reflected orbs in the Catacombes but these lights I could not esscape from, as they were in the picture at the same time.
The lights in the room when Jenny got her orb were high up in the ceiling.
On the photo that you sent Jenny, you used the picture on the wall as a flash point & then the reflected orb from the flash point. And whats this about the flash spill, Jenny was not useing flash.
Do you have any other ideas as to the orb? It does not seem as if your ideas tally, with how the photo was taken. No Flash

Hi eddie, the exif information within the picture confirms that the flash did indeed fire in this photograph this information is 100% accurate all digital photographs carry this embedded information you need the right software to view this. Flash use is also clearly evident in the over exposure in the lower left of the photograph.
The ISO data was also set at 100ISO with an aperture value of f1.7 and a Time Value of 1/90. A shot taken on a digital compact camera with these settings would severely under expose without the assistance of flash. Data also states that flash was set to automatic and not off.
Trust me the flash fired in this photograph. The Light ORB in this shot is not a direct result of the flash it is a combination of daylight and strobe.
Hope this helps.

Hi Richard
I must say that I had forgot about taking flash photos at first & then told that we were not aloud to.
After I made that last posting, it came to me.
All I remembered was thinking. Darn I wish we could take flash photos.
So sorry for doubting you words.
I have an orb picture. I would be interested as to what you think of it, would that be OK?
The orb is one of the likes that I have never seen before.
It has a perfect childs face in it. Although some that I have sent it too, have said that it looks like a young woman. The face is at side profile, much like the head on the face of a coin.
Best wishes

Hi Jenny
You were writing your last post as I was doing the write up. OK I went to the Loo & had a smoke in the mean time.
I would not say that you were naughty, as at that time we did not know that we could not take flash pics.
Best wishes
Eddie

no problem mate, send any images to:
richard@capture-studios.co.uk
There are some techniques you can use so you don't have to use flash however the images become rife with noise so that would debunk any potential evidence caught.
One way to capture a good long exposure in low light conditions would be to tripod mount your camera, and select the TV setting which means Time Value (Shutter Speed) and set the Time Value to around 25 seconds with the flash powered off the aperture will be controlled by the camera, also set the ISO rating which is like the Film speed used in a film camera to ISO100, ensure that you select the flash to the off position, and also set the cameras self timer to avoid nudging the camera as you press the button a 2 sec setting is perfect, then stay behind the camera once the beep sounds to indicate the shutter is open and wait for the shutter to close before allowing any stray light into the room or moving the tripod or camera.
This method will record any light source that moves within the picture frame, if no light is present when you review the photograph then clearly this demonstrates that the orb phenomena is a flaw of digital compact flash photography as my extensive studies have shown. If ORBS where a spiritual light source then they would not need the assistance of flash to show up on your photographs. I will conduct a demonstration on how easy it is to create a orb image and a moving orb image and upload the results this week.
In the meantime have a look here:

Hi All
Anyone up for Strangers Hall, revisited this Saturday? The first for some
Jenny, her Daughter Harriet & myself will be there.
Harriet wants to go on an invetigation. So I thought that a visit to strangers would be a good one to start her with.
I felt that the Bridewell might be a little bit too strong for her first investigation. We will see how she goes with Strangers Hall. Which already has an interesting air about it.
Pauls orb film, was more than a bit interesting.
Looking forward to seeing you Harriet
Best wishes all
Eddie
