Where abouts in Islington?, Christopher, my daughter lives there and just in case I need to dodge a dodgy cyclist on my next visit.

He lives In Furlong Road, I on the other hand being a reformed Jaywalker, but probably still a danger to cyclists live in Theberton Street( and Norfolk, but not today). Hope the daughter is enjoying life in our borough. Christopher

Yes , opposite, but the Leeson hall is now a private home I think. At one end is the notorious Highbury Magistrates court, where criminals are fined shedloads but no one ever pays. At the other end the likes of Boris and family enjoy a good pub called the Duchess of Kent. ( nice to have an old fashioned name). It used to be one of many "old men's pub" in the area. A bit of a dust up and it is quite buzzy now. And what is more the old men are still there at the bar!

Great pub, another regular destination. Always with a bit of excercise added for the NHS benefits, "There and Back" (sounds like another literary bit of twoddle)
PS .2 courses for about £9.00 and the Grand Union to boot

Johnson's a sock puppet- a tory stooge, an old-Etonian elected in a travesty of democracy on the back of a campaign of lies and smears from his old Telegraph colleagues Wadley and Gilligan.

Careful spindy he cannot be all bad, look he rides a BIKE.
Bike riders only killed about three people last year, so Boris can try real hard with no worries just like you spindy.

Actually Keith
If Wibble moved his boat to Islington
He could charge inner London prices and become a wealthy entrepenuir
Didnt Richard Branson start like that?

With a bit of a diversion , following some helpful pavement hints, you can rejoin the canal( depending which way you were heading) under the Angel area.About 2-3 miles. I am sure Jill may have memories of open days on the canal, Am I just imagining that in recent years they walked the boats through like the old days?

Good luck to Boris on the knife crime front, he is going to need it!
