Re: Lets go hunting

OK. I had the good old sceptical view about the young girl that I saw in the Bridewell being a spirit girl. I was looking at all possibilities.

However today I went into the Bridewell museum & inquired to the staff if they remembered seeing a girl that matched her desciption.

The lady on the reception desk asked me if it was last saturday when we were all there & I said yes.

She then said. I can remember all the people that came into the museum on the day & there was no young girl at that time, when you were all doing your investigations.

She asked me to tell her in full what she looked like & what room she was seen in.

I told her & the full desciption of what the young girl looked like.

She then said that she would be passing the information on to other people of staff in the the Bridewell museum.

So it seems that I with out doubt now, saw a ghost. The only problem is. She most certanly did not register to me as a ghost. She looked just like an ordinary little girl that you would see in the street. She most certanly did not look like the typical ghost. Shadow, mist or a transparant being. She looked as solid as any other person.

All that I can say is. WOW!!!!!!!!!

So be aware of this every one, when you are doing ghost hunts in the future.

You may wonder how I can remember this young girl in such detail. When I'm ghost hunting & see a young child, I always look at them. Just to see if they too are picking up on the sensations of the building.

A spirit can be drawn to a young child, a child still have not fully succombed to those usual Mothers & Fathers words. 'I'm going to knock this stupid ghost stuff out of your head once & for all.'

This is well worth while looking for. I saw this in action first hand at Castle Acre Priory.

Best wishes

Eddie

Re: Lets go hunting
Hi Eddie...i thought you would like to hear this little latest development... Amy went to stay at her friends house over the weekend, and her friends Dads mate was there. They got talking about the paranormal, and it transpires that he told her he had been in Bridewell Museum and that it had been a prison for women, he said that he came up with a spirit called Charles, who was apparently a baker?? When she got home she asked me if you had been in contact with someone of a similar name..when i told her Charlie, she was quite shocked....also remember the symbols that Jen and i drawed, when i got home id realised that i had looked at something similar hanging on the wall, and they apparently were for dough mixing....spookier and spookier...its like a paranormal puzzle!   LOL

Re: Lets go hunting

Hi Linda

More interesting indeed.

It seems amzing that we should come up with as good as the same name. Charlie. Charles. I supose that Charlie could have been his nick name.

Next time soon that I go there I will try to get his sir name. It would be very interesting to look up.

Another thing that I have thought of was that in that time people would be had duel jobs.

A barbar would have doubled as a surgeon & other medical problems (Dentist).

So may be our Charles, Charlie would have been a baker & a grocer. Delivering foods to the prison. Also posibly making food at the prison.

Well it does seem strange that the too things that have been picked up from him is that he worked in foods

I know that its a long shot but who knows.

The Bridewell museum is getting more & more interesting all the time. I think that I shall be spending quite a bit of time there in the near future.

Just to find out a little bit more. Well the spirits of the Bridewell most certanly seem to be responding to the people of the living world.

I wonder if a fully trained medium (Who's much better then myself) was to go there what they would pick up on?

It would be so interesting to know.

Cheers for the info. You were right. Very very interesting.

Best wishes

Eddie

Re: Lets go hunting

Hi Dave

The museum is amazing, not to mention extremely interesting.

I would put this one down to a ghost hunters paradice. So many interesting things have happened there, in only two investigations.

I must admit that if I had an EMF meter, it would be interesting to sweep the museum with it. Just so that the many strange sensations around the museum could be either justified or not by electrical disturbances.

However an EMF meter still would not justify all the many cold spots & icy breezes about the place Or the little girl.

Very interesting place

Best wishes

Eddie

Re: Lets go hunting

I will also agree. Meeting miss Weaver would indeed be amazing. Well she would certainly sugarcoat all the nasty things that was hapening.

Knowing my luck though. I would end up being splattered by the Stay Puff man. TUT.

Best wishes

Eddie
