"I am planning on drilling a hole through my bin and put a lock through it, is there a business to be had in future? I wonder"
Tongue in cheek surely Nevermind.
I mean, who would want the hassle of unlocking the bin in order for it to be emptied?
Speaking as someone whose bin men arrive before 7:00 am, not me.
Or do you plan on giving a spare key to your bin-men?

Another thought on how to avoid this new tax... simply take your rubbish to the nearest "authorities-provided" litter bin and stick it all in that. Or will the authorities retaliate by either (a) removing all litter bins or (b) making it an offence to use them ?

Phew thats early, peter, mine should get emptied at arounbd 9pm, but they always are behind half an hour or more. Are you thinking of a remote control lock, we at SECUREABIN can cater for all tastes, it will just cost a little more. ![Wink [;)]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-5.gif) nevermind

Now you are talking, a devise that I could activate whilst still tucked up in bed. Especially handy on a cold winter's morning.
Sign me up. (Not too expensive mind)
