Darn. I cant believe that none of those links worked.
I will try another time.
When I saw Norman Wisdom he was on a show at the long since defunked ABC Great Yarmouth. Basil Brush was backing him.
It was a great show.
I think that I was about 9 years old & nearly peed myself from larghing so much.
Best wishes
Eddie

I went to see Nightwish & they were wonderful. Without doubt the best concert that I have ever been too & Ive been to quite a few.
I met up with a guy in a shop in London & he told me that he was a member of an up & coming Female fronted Metal band. I thought to myself. 'Oh here we go again. Another thrash bang bang band that have none of the class of the Euro femaleMetal fronted bands.
That was when he said that their lead singer is Emily from the Medieval Baebes. (Medieval baebes are a wonderful all girl folk meditive band) That was when my ears pricked up.
Medieval Baebes.

Even more so when he said that their first gig was backing Tarja (Former Nightwish singer) on her world tour. That was a shock. That was when I thought. Maybe this band is not too bad after all.
I must say that I have now listened to their music & I was very very impressed & shocked. Britain now has a possible world class female fronted metal band called 'PYTHIA' Time will tel if they take up that mantle. Heres hoping that they make it. They are based in London. See what you all think.

I love Blackmores Night. I think that Candis have such a sweet voice. They do a very good Live DVD & CD. Priced at £20. It may sound alot of money but its well worth it.
What did you think of Nightwish & Within Temptation? I think that they are both great.
I went & see Meatloaf a few years back. I thought that he was very good, untill he collapsed on stage. He had done an hour & a half of the show.
After the gig he was rushed to hospital with heart problems. He had done the Gig that I went too, against Drs orders. So three months after he resceduled & off me & my Nephew bold again. This time the show lasted two & a half hrs. WOW! He was brilliant.
The show started with two very pretty nurses dressed in white PVC pushing him on stage on a gurney. You could hear a slow heartbeat & then a hum as it flatlined. The nurses ran about him giving him cardiac massarge, finaly they both looked up at each other shacking their heards & walked off stage. That was when Meatloaf started to contort on the gurney, to spooky music. Finaly he jumped of the gurney & started to sing.
It was brilliant as he was sending himself up from the last gig.
Best wishes
Eddie

Hi Fred
I have only just found out about Autumn. I put them into utube when I heard they they are one of the bands featured on the Beautiful Voices 3 album. The Beautiful voices albums are of Female metal artists. Did I mention that I like female metal bands....I did.......Well Ive said it again. Giggle.
I find only one problem with Blackmores Night. You find yourself too many times walking down the road whistling the tunes & singing the soungs.
I got a very stange look from a lady one day when she heard me singing 'Just call My Name.' Well I was trying to reach some of Candis's high notes. LOL
Best wishes
Eddie
