x Gauz x, you go ahead and play with a Ouja board as much as you like. There is absolutely no danger that the board itself or anything it might conjure up will do you any harm whatsoever. The simple reason is that a ouija board is just a bit of old card and a bit of old glass (or whatever your thing is made of). It doesn't do anything, can't effect anything and has no more power to summon up anything spooky than any other inanimate object in your house.
If you have issues with your mental stability however, I wouldn't play around like this because you may create things in your head which don't do you any good. They will all be in your head, but that doesn't make them any the less potentially harmful to you.
You haven't experienced anything that exists outside your own mind however.

Hi fallen! It's not even worth trying to talk with people like Amber. They are not on here to discuss or debate anything. They are just negative, small minded people who like to get their kicks poking their sticks at people who do not see the world as they do,very sad.

You have responded to my perfectly sensible and serious posting with an abusive rant - why?

No Amber...I asked you a serious question. Did someone con you once? I asked this as a possible reason for your relentless sarcasm. You replied with your childish... "Walk into the light" reply. My reply to that was not an abusive rant.It was my observation based on the majority of your postings on this forum so far. So Amber...If you are not negative or small minded lets all have a proper grown up debate about each of the topics posted shall we. As this one is about Ouija boards lets return this thread to that subject for which it was started. I can see your point about Ouija boards. If you do not think they open any paranormal doors or if indeed you consider there to be no such thing as the paranormal, then they will just be bits of boards & old glass. That is your stand on the subject & I respect your right to think that. I however feel differently about Ouija boards to you.I do not personally own one & have not considered running off to the shops to buy one.But I respect everyones chioces. I know how a group of people can build power. So my view would be that if you are a novice who believes a Ouija board could work on a paranormal level then you should not dabble about with a them on your own.

Yes,I agree that there is no reason why anyone should believe that Ouija boards hold no supernatural power in itself. I too think that the board can be used as a tool. But I do not agree that any paranormal activity that arises from using such a tool is the result of some mental fraility. I am glad that no one has ever conned you,no one deserves that. I too do not automatically believe that everything presented as possible paranormal activity is.There are many inccidents where a rational explanation can be found.Thats good, means we can concentrate on the things that really are paranormal. I like to hear other peoples accounts of the supernatural .I also like to explore the possiblities of my own experiences.I have had many.Others I know have never had any.But that dosn't mean they never will? These things have a way of popping up when least expected!

I understand your point of view here as a skeptic Amber. I agree that it would not a good idea for anyone who is predisposed to mental frailty or open to suggestion to mess about with Ouija boards. This is my final posting on this particular subject.
