Criminally inflated energy prices are simply as a direct result of the privatization of the countries economic base.
Whatever you give away to foreign suppliers in the name of the 'Dream' will always result in the British consumer eventually being held to Ransom by foreign con men and their British lap dogs from the OBN.
The government can do nothing, even if they were not personally involved in the con, because they have made the country no longer self sufficient and the government know that if they tried to control prices that originate abroad, those supplying us would simply pull the plug.
Closing the pipeline with the oil processing strike recently, is a method of government to hide their knee jerk reaction to price, both from the consumer and the supplier and is a pathetic attempt at damage limitation.
The only sensible course is to re open coal mines and re nationalize all the main companies that underpin the economy.
Oh yes and get the f--- out of the common market, it is strangling this country.
It is the competition that a Wash Barrier designed to produce electric power from wind and tide and Alcohol from sugar beet for fuel, that prevents its instant support from government, if we had an honest one.
Instead they are prepared to drown Norfolk.
The government know that such a boost to the British economy would not be acceptable to their energy supplying masters abroad.
