Living TV's new ghostly offering 'Living With The Dead' aired on a tuesday evenings, has now shown two programmes.
I watched the first one hoping that it might fare better then Most Haunted,but alas I was disapointed.
The poor haunted family were scared witless,with what seemed to be an odd way to me of clearing a house of unwanted spirits?
I must comment on the shows medium Johnnie Fiori.I had seen her before on MH & to be honest was not much impressed . What is her role on Living With The Dead (LWTD)???
In both episodes so far she has gone into each haunted location & gone"oh..I don't like it here"...Well yar,you knew it was haunted Johnnie...Doh! She gives no names or reasons why the wandering ghostie still resides in that place.She dosn't even seem to hang about to assist with the families ordeal either!
Oh,& the background music sounds like a score for a new 'Jaws' movie,really annoying & shambolic!
What do you other Spooky Norfolk readers out there think?

I think that we all agree that the programme is set for scares more than a true paranormal investigation & spirit house clearence.

I will agree that we have had two shows & two families scared witless. This is not the way to go for the future of the show.

I have had experience in sending a spirit to the light at Castle Acre Priory & that is not the way that it done.

Miss Fiori is curantly working on stage in the West End show Hairspray.

Judging by the trance medium play acting antics of Mr Lawman, maybe he wants a job in Hairspray also.. Giggle. Think about it.

Well I've seen the first three shows now and I think it is an absolutely amazing series, really entertaining and really spooky! I love the fact it is about real houses and real people and the stories of what they are going through. And boy they are really going through it! Can't wait for the next one, if you haven't seen it, watch it!

Where abouts are you in the aria of Norfolk?

If you are close to Norwich we have a little band of ghosthunters on the forum. We are investigating hauntings about Norwich. The next one will be at The Dragon Hall Museum.

No date fixed yet but keep an eye out for a Dragon Hall link & the investigation date.

It would be great for us all to meet you & go on a ghost hunt of The Dragon Hall Museum.

Hello to all this is my first time on a forum so i hope you will all bear with me as i am not very good on a computer either. I hope you watch the program tonight as it is my house in wales,if you dont believe me i will give you proof look for the horseshoe. They fimed fo 4 days so they had to edit the program down to 44mins so alot was cut out. silly you may think but i live quite happily with my ghosts and although we got rid of something nasty they are still with us . I will try to log on tomorrow to see what you all thought of it.

Great to hear from you. Do you have a house in Norfolk as well? If you are only living in Wales, I'd love to know how you found your way to our neck of the woods.

Was it just the negitive spirit that they got rid of & left the other spirits. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Its not that I'm against what they are doing, (getting rid of unwanted spirits) its the way that they are doing it.

Up to pressent we have had three terrified families & I feel that this should not have happened. As there is no need for this, with sending a spirit to the light.

I look forward to watching tonights show, as this is the first time that I have heard from anyone that the Living with the Dead crew have visited.

So write soon & let you know what I thought of the show.

Hi Eddie I told you I was nt very good with a computer I do not have a house in norfolk I didnt realise this site was in norfolk but it doesnt matter where it is ,the show goes out all over. It was a negative spirit and as for the way that they do it , its not the way that I do it. As for my family we are happy to live with our spirit family in fact they have helped me out on a number of times when I have had problems like power cuts etc .By the way my name is Irene and I come from a time when computers took up a whole room and had to be kicked to make them work.

I think that it is wonderful Irene, most ladies would have been terrified of spirits. I'm glad to here that you are more open minded to them.

I shall be viewing the show later as my parents fall in to the scared witless (Oy MODS I said witless. Giggle) bracket, as far as spirit is concerned. It doesnt mater how much I tell them that there is nothing to fear from the dead, its the living that you have to worry about.

I know, its a calming effect. negitive spirits are relatively rare compeared to good spirits.

Indeed it does not mater about the Spooky Norfolk website for your posting, We all have a great interest in spirit & we look forward to you telling us of your experiences.

I look forward to hearing what other spirits you have in your house & of just how they have helped you.

Just to say that we have a small group that go ghost hunting about Norwich in the day time, on Saturdays. If you wish to join us your quite welcome to join the group. There is no charge, other than admission to the museums we visit.

First of all I must say that I read your posting wrong. You said that you 'do not have a house in Norfolk.' What I read was. 'I do have a house in Norfolk.'

I'm sorry for that. I have bad athritis & at times the pain is so great that I'm not fully able to consentrait, do to the pain. This evenening was agony when I read & wrote the posting, so I'm sorry.

To The show.

I must say that I thought that it was the best one yet.

I found it amazing of a Welsh family of the 18.00s speaking English & very good English, at that. (This would have been rare for the time) However I have heard that it is the contact with spirit & the persons nationality, that can come to gether & form their words to the person who is channeling in the channelers language. I have never seen this done before,so that was very interesting

You mentioned about your dogs, I take it that they too had experienced this spirit & the other spirits? I know that animals are very sensitive to them.

How long have you been a trance medium? Trance mediumship is one of the rarest type of mediumship & in my oppinion, the most interesting form of mediumship.

Have you been to spiritual development classes?

Amazingly it was nice for a change to see the Living with the Dead crew scared, instead of the house holders.

Poor Miss Fiori looked very nervous. Mind you I guess that I would have been the same, if I could not get some one out of a trance.

The coins were verry interesting, the way that they had been neatly stacked.

A friend of mine once told we of one of his friends who bought an old house.

He told me that his friend would go to bed at night & then when he got up the next morning, old penneys would have apeared during the night. Neatly stacked up on his living room table. There was no one else in the house at the time.

It was when other old items turned up (pencils, pens & other small house hold items) that he knew that the house was haunted.

It was a good spirit.

Well any spirit that came up with these items would have to be good. Giggle

So the way how the coins were stacked up in your house, gave more evidence to the story that my friend had told me of. I guess that this was the way how they would have left any spear change about the house. Neatly stacked up.

I have to ask. Have you had any evidence of this negitive spirt since the Living with the dead crew left your house?

I will say that I hope not.

If you have any other storys that happened in your house, before & after, that was not covered in the show. We would love to hear of your experiences.

Hi Eddie how did you sus me out i never told you about being a direct trance medium even the film crew did not know until it happened..Yes i at in a circle in the 1980s with a lovely medium (now passed) called Ivy Scott and I took some training from a medium called Gordon Higginson I have seen spirit all my life .I used to give readings and I am also a psychic artist I have never taken a penny for what i do as i believe nobody should make money out of grieve. I gave it all up 28 years ago for reasons to long to go in to. Spirit are always with me and on the day of the filming they were very close i knew they were up to something so i was on my guard i knew i could have soved the problem of my negative spirit my self but i swore i wouldnot do anything like this again, When we were upstairs with johnnie fiori i could see one spirit Herbert Morgan standing near the window and Gladis was standing close to my right i thought Herbert was the one who would try something so i was consetrating on him and dropped my guard on Gladis which gave her the opportunity to do what she done wrong move on my part lesson learnt.From then on the film crew were amazed they said they had never seen any thing like it and kept on at me to do more which i was reluctant to do but gave in in the end for a bit of peace.I have since found a living relative in the village the great nephew of the family who as a boy knew the family and used to do odd jobs yes according to him they all spoke fluent english this was one of querys i had .also no money was paid to us for this program our reward was getting rid of the negative spirit. And yes things are still going on in the house ( good things ) Irene
