We have again been called in to remove a spirit from a house in which the people thought they would have a laugh and contact the spirits using a ouija board, now they are terrified. My answer to this is DON'T USE ONE unless you know exactly what you are doing because they are dangerous things you are opening a door to any passing spirit, that want's to come in and stay, we have seen this many times before, and i expect we will see it many times again......well it keeps us busy!

Hiya
I agree with your posting using ouija boards can be very dangerous!

Hi Guys,
Just reading the posts with interest, what makes you both feel that the dangers are spiritual rather than psychological?
Kind Regards
Mark D.
Hi Mark,
I am also a member of Suffolk and Norfolk Paranormal Investigations and feel your question is a reasonable question for someone who may not understand or has never been present at an ouija board seance.
These boards are used to invite spirits to come through to talk and like was mentioned before hand... you are literally opening a door for any passing spirit. The user of the board has no control as to who might walk through the door and into their lives. You may well invite a malevolent spirit through and if an inexperienced user is using the board they will not know how to close the board down after a session. If the board is not closed down properly the spirit will return to annoy the user and may even decide to stay...
Some people seem to think it is a board game and do not treat it with respect.
I have been witness to a session on an ouija board where it has gone terribly wrong and seen 6 young men fleeing with fear and I can assure you that neither they or myself had psychological problems! (I must add here that I was not participating in the session, but keeping well out of the way, an observer in the back ground!) We have had stories come in where people have had bad things happen after they have been experimenting with these boards and we have been called out to help people.
So in answer to your question.... If you had witnessed what we have... you would see that it is most definitely a spiritual problem and not a psychological one.

Hi Jeanette,
Thank you for your reply.
However, nothing you describe rules out a psychological explanation.

I can remember being told, some seven or eight years ago as a child playing at the recreation ground in harleston that some children had taken a ouija board into the leisure centre and played about with it and they had never been seen since.
As a youngster I must admit this only increased the appeal! though i highly doubt the truth behind this rumour, i scared the cankers out of me when i heard about it and i say your very brave/foolish to get into all that!
I find this interesting & fascinating, I have seen many many people walk through our door for a spiritual reading, having this idea of "show me evidence then I will believe", I believe it when I get some proof, Almost 99.9% leave with a totally changed attitude, then becoming one of those that people don't believe. This is why the whole issue on spooky, spritual or haunted houses have become more and more, much like people who are using this kind of forum, people have been exploring this for hundreds of yrs, and yet still not all beleive. This attitude and approach of going to a so called haunted house or placing yourself in a crowded room, is not a very good way to look or start there experience in the so called paranormal, if you want the proof, find yourself a real good medium, and the rest will not matter, the proof is in the believer.
Don't get carried away with TV, I have friends that have been involved in TV Haunted shows, they are always set up to make the show look scary. my self was approached by a well know website here and asked to bump my stories , hell I am not about to tell nothing other than that I have experieced, seen or beleive.
However when it comes to the Ouija board, then I am not about to place myself, my family or indeed others at risk of any type, is it really worth the chance, I don’t think so.
hi, as i said in my the first post on this subject....we are contacted by many people who have used ouija boards, and now have spirits some nasty in their homes, so my answer is still the same DON'T USE OUIJA BOARDS!!.
RICHARD.
Right, so if I can get this straight in my head, if you ‘mess’ around with Ouija boards, bad things happen and users are plagued with evil spirits and demons?
Hi Richard B,
But if you read Richard K's and Jeanette's posts, they say something else.
This is all very confusing you know.
hi, Mark, unless a qualified person uses them eg a medium, who knows how to close them down correctly afterwards sooner or later you will get unwanted spirits.....trust me i know!!

Hi Richard K.,
But what makes medium's qualified? I mean, anyone can call themselves a medium at the end of the day.
