The Stonehenge Dig. The Stonehenge Healing powers

Hi All

This is the story of the Stonehenge dig. A day by day video log.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/programmes/stonehenge/video.shtml?video=day1

Archaeologists believe that Stonehenge may have been a place of healing for Neolithic man. Do the the healing power of the Blue stones.

English Heritage have endorsed this dig & its the first dig at Stonehenge for over 50 years.

The dig has now finished. But we can watch the BBCs 'Timewatch' catch up videos of what was found on the dig

Best wishes

Eddie

Watched this! It was very interesting as i have always been drawn to stone circles and in my younger days did many a camping trip to visit them, my favourite being the avebury stone circle. So another theory that it was used as a centre for healing, although i see this very much open to disscussion. Thanks for finding it.

Yes I will agree Dave. Avebury is wonderful. I love the place. Hoping to get there again sometime this year. Fingers crossed.

I gave the Stonehenge wright up & the videos a look & I felt that it would be interesting for the forum.

Best wishes

Eddie
