At a time when pubs are disappearing here is one that deserves everyone's support. It was called England's Hope (after Lord Nelson) and is still known by many locals as 'The Hope' but is now called the Marshland Arms. Don't forget our corner of Norfolk over here in the far west! Andy, Chef John, and Karen have made this pub into a really homely and pleasant place to visit. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Their day off is Monday but they are open lunchtimes and evenings for the other six days of the week. Come on over to West Norfolk and visit the friendly village pub in Marshland St James!
