At some point in our lives most of us are touched by cancer and to keep giving help to those affected we are organising the following event:
Title: Bure Valley Railway Walk
Date: Saturday & Sunday 19th & 20th April 2008
Location: Bure Valley Railway, between Aylsham & Wroxham, Norfolk
Times: There are various start times over the weekend
About the event: The Bure Valley Railway Walk is a sponsored walk along the beautiful pathway between Wroxham and Aylsham incorporating a free trip on the Bure Valley narrow gauge railway. The enjoyable path follows part of the route of the former Great Eastern Railway and passes through some of Norfolk’s most attractive countryside and prettiest villages. It’s a terrific way to have fun with friends and family and support local people living with cancer at the same time.
Refreshments: All participants receive free refreshments at the end of their walk.
Costs: Registration is £5 per adult (children under 5 are free) and we ask that you raise a minimum sponsorship of £25 per adult.
· Raise over £100 to receive a free Macmillan gift
· The top fundraiser will receive a free 1 day train driver experience course at the Bure Valley Railway (over 18s only). The driver experience has been very kindly donated by Bure Valley Railway.
For more information or to register: Please call the Norfolk Fundraising Office on: 01603 626433 or email: norfolk@macmillan.org.uk for a registration form.
We thank you in advance for any support you can offer to this very worthwhile charity.
