Norfolk Community Foundation increases 2008 grant funding.

The Norfolk Community Foundation is increasing its grant funding for 2008.   Community and voluntary organisations across the County will be able to apply to the Foundation for up to £5,000 in grant support.  The Foundation is particularly interested in projects that directly support any of the following objectives:

·         Elderly in Need

·         Support groups for families at risk

·         Young people at risk

·         Those suffering isolation in rural areas

·         People with Mental Health Needs

The Foundation has also instigated a new small grants programme where groups can access up to £500 within just two weeks of submitting a completed application form.

Jo Beauchamp, the Foundation’s Grants Manager commented “There is some amazing work going on in our communities and the Foundation is delighted to be able to increase the funding available to key community projects throughout the County, as well as being more responsive to groups needing small amounts of money.”

Interested applicants will find full details on the Foundation’s website www.norfolkfoundation.com and are strongly advised to call Jo Beauchamp on 01603 230036.

Re: £5000 grants up for grabs

Think that is probably a catchier headline than the one that came with the press release - good luck if you are applying.
