A red card was shown in a European Championship game and the recipient gets banned for one match and yet in a lesser competition a red card earns a three match ban.

Does this mean that an English Championship match is more important then a European cup match?

The EXPERT knows more and more about less and less until he knows everything about nothing .

Delboy...This link highlights the one card rule for instant dismissal from a game and I suppose 2 yellow cards mean a 3 match ban..
