I think, that in the interests of balance, that it’s important to stress that there is a lot of mumbo jumbo written about Ouija Boards. I cannot possibly comment on a lot of the posts here as I do not wish (nor intend) to offend. Because with some people the more you say dont do it...the more they want to! I knew people who had bad experiences directly after using a board...it might have been coincidence??  But ive read a lot about there being evil entities, that are supposed to lie to you,  and say they are what they are not?.  Tell me do you believe evil entities exist...??? spookfan    Report

Started doing reiki in 19.98 & Ive now made it to advanced. I cant see me bothering with masters, I have been told that you only need masters if you are going to teach it.   Besides the fact that being attoned toReiki master cost £300, that put me off.   You say that you have sat in circle & you have given good advice on protection.   However. Whith those years sitting in circle, I have to ask you this question.   Would you do Ouja with out another medium pressent?   It will be interesting if your answer tallys with mine. If someone here was a bad person then if they visit or reside with us then they will probably find joy in causing people stress and discomfort. I personally havn't come across such a spirit but some of my colleagues have and the worst ive come across is a very unhappy and sad spirit that made me feel awful. As far as evil goes im not a religous person so i wouldnt class someone as evil but with bad intentions.   Hi Eddie With what ive learned from others i would not use a ouija ever, with or without a medium present. I get enough results through other means to not even consider using it and would prefer to avoid any dangers that may be present. I assume you have 4 levels to your reiki path (lvl 1, lvl 2, advanced and master). Many reiki systems vary and mine just has 3, so master would be my next step. 01/03/2008, 1:26 PM fallen-angel Joined on 20/06/2007 norfolk Posts 126 Re: The Dangers Of Using A ouija Board hi foreverautumn, so you say that you dont use the ouji board because of what others have said  to you. but are you 100% they r dangorous?   ouiji boards have quite a reputation, and much of this is due to the way they are represented in films and tv programmes. there are myths attachted to the ouiji boards and people r often afraid of them.... when used properly the board offers a chance for several people to take part together. and sometimes the board will give imformation that can lead to more investigations. the truth is that the ouiji board is just a piece of wood or hardboard with letters and numbers on it. it has no more paranormal power then anything else. the ouiji board  i feel is not dangours for people to do, as long as they know what to do. however when i use one i find i get very tired, in a way like withdrawn. lack of engery, a kind of cant be bothered , after i use one. but dangorous i dout very very much. unless you have seen with your own eyes that while usuing or being present when others have used one that something bad has happened only while in that time or in the room  then you can say , ok i have seen the danger. but i have never experanced anything like it just once where a young boy didnt want me to close it down, by saying this i dont mean anything bad the words of my closing prayer would just not come out off my mouth. i could say anything else just except my closing prayer. i said to the young boy ok i will not leave, but why arnt you letting me. from this it was because he was lost, but in the end after calling his family his nan came and took him. then the prayer was said . but this was not a bad experiance it was just a young boy doing all he could to get his family to come for him. i hope this information has helped. im not trying to get anyone to use them , but just to see you cant rule out things as dangrous just because others say they are.  same as my post on spells. xxxxxxxxxx DONT GO WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD.... I am not saying that they are a dangerous tool to use, only that caution needs to be observed as many spirits can use it at the same time, much like if you were on a conference call and suddenly they all wanted to talk to u at the same time, so you need a lot of control and a very strong will. This is probably that has led to people of weak wills being affected. You obviously seem very strong willed but it can still be a drain as you say ; however when i use one i find i get very tired, in a way like withdrawn. lack of engery, a kind of cant be bothered , after i use one. If you can spring back from this kind of drain on your system and you are happy with this and how it affects your life, then carry on. I personally would prefer not to do this and don't need to. Mostly this is totaly unknow to the person.   The tell tale signs are of what you have just descibed in your last posting.   Dont just take my word for it. Put 'spiritual vampires' into your search engine & see if what you feel when doing an ouija, tallys with the symptoms given on these websites.   Some show how to protect yourself against this attack.   I know that I was shocked when I first heard of spiritual vampirism. I was told in circle about this & how to protect against it.   Please take my words, as a way of helping you. This can be dangerous without protection. Spiritual vampires?   The kind of reiki that I have been atuned to comes in 4 parts. 1st & 2nd degree. Advanced & then Masters. Yes the Masters used to be just one (Advanced combined with masters) but some people found that tthe attonment was too powerful for them.   So the two was broken down in to two parts.   Best wishes   Eddie   PS Yes I will agree. But even still with the best protection you can do, you still may get affected, so you need to remain alert to this and deal with it. There is not enough control with the ouiji board to enable you to do this. Hi fallen Spirits will take as much as your energy as they can if allowed and/or of a vindictive nature, plus if you are getting lots of spirits vying for your attention this will ultimately drain you and cause you health problems. Like the write up thread that you found & printed out.   2nd/ A spirit can do exactly the same as writen above.   After all. We are no more than a spirit traped in a shell. (By choice of cause.) It might also depend on what religious beliefs the spirit held when on earth. WHAT REPORTS SHOW THIS BY USUING THE BOARD? i dont believe in the devil and i dont believe in hell. earth is hell to me, with war, starvation, floods , all possible bad things happen or have happened here on earth, but the devil has not had anything to do with it... i used to be in the circle which i think you are still in, and they advised aganst it. xxxx DONT GO WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD....
