It's long dawned on me that the problem with Britain today is there are far too many people similar to this and this dossing around when there are so many hard working individuals from abroad who would benefit this island greatly.
If only there was a party willing to stand up and be counted.
Either we could exchange these people with a regime we dislike (Francos Spain would have been ideal) or better still just exile our wasters to somewhere currently uninhabited and send them a regular supply of alcohol, making way for all those from abroad who genuinely would make a difference and be of benefit to this country. Give me one good asian shopkeeper for every 100 of the above any day.
Problem solved and old Blighty back on track.

How do you work out which foreigners are going to be hard working and which are people who were involved with ethnic cleansing in the countries they come from?
I think most educated sensible people would consider ethnic cleansing as somewhat worse than untidy gardens and silly threats.
The present immigration system in the UK cannot distinguish between acceptable immigrants or asylum seekers and mass murderers and until we rid ourselves of the current corruptions in governance, this will not change.
The lax mealy mouthed liberal attitude to social issues and criminals is also the cause of the issues covered in your links Darcy.
Yes I would deal with these people harsher.
However they would be serving their country anyway if I had my way, because they would have been conscripted into the countries forces for work benefiting the UK, just like your Indian shop keeper.

Yes, but they don't stay there ....
You only have to spend a business day in London to see that most offices in the city are manned almost exclusively by young Australian women, over here (one assumes) in a desparate attempt to avoid having to marry Australian men?

Whilst I have some sympathy with what you say Keith it's like this- if your back garden is full of garbage and rats, complaining to the council about your neighbours equally squalid yard would be a tad hypocritical would it not? What percent of those coming into this country would YOU say covered your description above? Personally I would suggest a drop in the ocean, while our own filth fill our newspapers on a daily basis.
These people would be the last people I'd want to fight for me in a war either.

The problem with that example is that too many decent people were shipped out by the wasters, who were actually the ones in charge..
I think much of our difficulties stem from the distant past as oppossed to something occuring in society more recently such as meddling by 'liberals'.

That is far too large a generalisation Darcy
As you say, many of the people shipped out by wasters who were in charge were the poor and only criminals because they stole to survive.
If it wasnt for the liberals since then, they would still bear the stigma.
However, liberalism can go too far the other way as in the case of terror agitators taking the current system for a ride.

It is not the fault of the judiciary, although there are corrupt members of it.
It is government interference in a judicial system developed over hundreds of years with the experience of thousands.
New Labour and previous government in what I call the 'weedy' age, have damaged this system when they should have been improving it to meet modern challenges.
I blame our involvement with the European system for much of this, although a tighter connection with Europe was essential to Britain.
Britain used to have a government that's purpose was to serve the people and our country.
Today its members appear self serving and interested only in commercial gain.
Find the statesmen we need and rid us of the criminals.

A modern 'liberal' government holding the Judiciary hostage hey? I see very little evidence of this apart from the usual tabloid bonanza which sparks uproar but has very little merit or substance, suffice to say they're good at instigating uproar from the 'mob'.
You find the statesman and I'll find a handpicked ordinary group of people who havent attended Eton to do precisely the same job.
'Statesmen', their minion politicians and judges. Wouldn't p*** on them if they were on fire, any of them.
