Magpies hoping for a big crowd
Dereham Town are hoping for a bumper crowd for tomorrow night's pre-season friendly against Norwich City at Aldiss Park (7.30pm). A Canaries XI - managed by first team coach Paul Stephenson - is set to mainly feature young professionals and Academy players as they give the Magpies a good test ahead of the new campaign.

Three-year ban after racist remarks

One of the players who helped end Lowestoft Town's FA Vase dream failed a drugs test after the game, it was revealed yesterday. Traces of cannabis were found in a sample provided by Kirkham & Wesham midfielder Ged Smith after he had helped his team to a 2-1 victory over the Blues at Wembley in May.

Reeve follows Setchell to Wisbech
Wisbech boss Steve Taylor is closing in on two more players for the Ridgeons Premier club after signing Swaffham defender Anthony Reeve. Reeve, a 24-year-old centre-back, is the second player to join from the Pedlars in as many weeks player/assistant manager Gary Setchell's arrival.
