24 October 2008
We cannot have it both ways
Earlier this week the club's annual general meeting attracted 440 hardy shareholders, braving a damp autumnal November night, to come and quiz the Norwich City board of directors.
13 November 2008
Opinions of the supporters must always be respected
I don't doubt for one minute that, when Glenn Roeder said he knew more about football matters than the club's supporters, he was quite right. That's why he's manager, the fans are fans and the media are that four-letter word that some people use when they refer to our friends in Suffolk.
14 November 2008
Where it all comes from is a mystery, Glenn
“Did you sue 'em?” “Who?” “The charm school.” So went one of the many classic lines in Only Fools and Horses. But in the age-old tradition of fact being stranger than fiction, the lack of charm portrayed by the miserable checkout girl serving Del Boy was nothing compared with the way Glenn Roeder spoke to the club's shareholders at Norwich City's annual meeting this week.
15 November 2008
I expected a lot more from Southport
Well, that's Southport crossed from the list as another long northern journey came and went very quickly last weekend. The only minus on what was a good day out is that we lost a game to a team who may well be in the top three of the league but in my opinion were nothing that special.
19 November 2008
Swans' song says it all
You might have missed it on Saturday, but there was a very telling chant from Swansea fans at about 4.10pm. To the tune of London Bridge Is Falling Down, they sang: “Norwich City Are Going Down."
