Ahlafors IF 1, Norwich City 2
Substitute Jamie Cureton scored an injury-time winner for City in their opening tour game in Sweden. Triallist Chris Makiese scored in the first half before Tobias Emback equalised for Ahlafors IF. The Canaries missed a hatful of chances and lost defender Jason Shackell with injury in the second half.

Norwich clinch Fulham signings
Norwich last night clinched the double signing of Fulham defensive duo Dejan Stefanovic and Elliot Omozusi. Stefanovic has agreed a two year deal while England youth international Omozusi moves to Carrow Road on a season long loan - both for undisclosed fees.

Forget about Ched, until New Year at least
Norwich boss Glenn Roeder can forget a loan move for Man City's in demand young hitman Ched Evans - until the New Year at least. Man City chief Mark Hughes confirmed the teenager, who plundered ten goals in an extended 20-game loan stint at Carrow Road last season is staying at Eastlands for the start of the new campaign.

Big changes have been made before
Finally, nine long months after we kicked off with a 0-0 draw at Preston on the opening day, the curtain has come down on season 2007-2008. It is not a season that many of us will look back upon with huge affection.

And so it all comes down to the final 10 days of the season. Or rather, hopefully not. There can't be a single Norwich supporter who'd relish a trip to Hillsborough on Sunday week if City's survival is still in doubt come the final weekend of the campaign.
24 April 2008
Add goals and City have recipe for better season
