report: Harry
delights Royal Norfolk Show crowds
Harry
steals the show
He tasted a tomato even though he dislikes them, learned about
chair making, had a go on a pole lathe and made the day for at least
two
lucky teenagers - and all that on top of helping mark the centenary
of the granting of the "Royal" title to the Royal Norfolk
Agricultural Association.
Dairy
farmer sweeps the board
Pedigree dairy farmer Ken Proctor swept the board in every dairy
class in the sunshine today as the Airfield herd won trophy after trophy.
Children
have fun at Norfolk Show
Youngsters across the county gave a big thumbs up to the
Royal Norfolk Show. They enjoyed a whole host of activities from watching
sheep being sheared and learning about bees and honey, to taking part
in a mini-driving
school, and enjoying the thrills and spills of fairground ride.
Dressed
up for the Show
There was no need for the umbrella, the wellies or a thick coat
as the sun allowed us all to enjoy classic summer dressing. Linen suits
for the chaps, pretty dresses for the girls and plenty of absolutely
fabulous hats.
Canaries

The men in black will take to the road for Norwich City next season
after the club officially unveiled its new away kit.

The glorious weather continued at the second day of the Royal
Norfolk Show with organisers confident they could be heading for

day.
Gardeners
claiming victory over the weather
Despite difficult weather conditions over the spring growing
