Terms and Conditions

• Only one entry per school will be allowed.

• All entries must include a letter of 250 words or less on ‘What you would like to spend the money on and why’ and 2,000 qualifying tokens.

• Each token must be a legitimate EDP and The Mall, Norwich collecting token, no photocopies will be accepted, this will result in disqualification.

• The total cash prize fund is £25,000. 

  • One winning school from each area in the EDP region will each receive £2,000 to spend on sports equipment of their choice. 

• Runner up prizes of £1,000 will be given to one school from each area.

• The remaining £10,000 will be shared amongst the schools that submitted their 2000 tokens and 250 words or fewer on ‘‘What you would like to spend the money on and why’’ but did not win a main prize. 

• Example. £10,000 divided 100 entries = £100 each

All entries must be received by Friday 20th June 2008

• Dual entry schools will receive a cash value payment equivalent to one entry only, and this will need to be divided at the discretion of the two schools.  The Eastern Daily Press and The Mall, Norwich will not make any decision regarding issues relating to the division of prize money for dual entry schools.

• Winning Schools must spend or have ordered the sports equipment / sports area within 12 months of receiving the prize fund.

• Proof of postage may be required to guarantee payment for entry

• The decision of the editor is final.

• Winning schools will be asked to take part in publicity photographs.  A follow up story on winning schools will also be required, once monies have been spent.

• All entries will go through to an independent judging panel from The Mall, Norwich and the Eastern Daily Press.

• All other Archant Regional competition rules apply.

• No correspondence will be entered into.
