What is the Eastern Daily Press and The Mall Norwich Get Equipped Schools Competition?

The Eastern Daily Press has again joined forces with The Mall Norwich for the fourth year running to help provide local schools with much needed sports equipment. 

We have got £25,000 to give to Schools in the EDP catchment area (see map below).  We have split the area into 5 sections to ensure two schools from each area will become winners.

We are giving £2,000 to each winning school and £1000 to the runner-up in each area.  The remaining £10,000 will then be split down and shared between every school that enters. Last year 145 schools each received £68.97 just for entering.

All you have to do to enter is collect 2000 tokens from the EDP or from The Mall Norwich and tell us in 250 words or fewer ‘What you would like to spend the money on and why’. 

Your entry can be as creative as you like.  In fact, the more creative, the better!

How to collect the tokens

Tokens will be printed daily in the EDP throughout the promotion from Saturday 8th March to Saturday 24th May 2008.
